Report a Repair
Tenants responsibilities for repairs:
We don't expect tenants to do major repairs but do ask that you attend to do minor jobs such as replacing fuses, light bulbs and smoke alarm batteries; clearing blockages in sinks, baths, showers and drains; repair damage caused by the tenants, family or visitors. We provide you with a useful tenant responsibility fact sheet to help with this.
We ask that all requests for repairs are put in writing either by e mail or online via our report a repair button below so we can assure you of our best service. It is also really helpful if you are able to provide access times with your repair request. Landlords are allowed a reasonable time period to rectify valid repairs.
Only emergency repairs will be accepted by telephone.
All repairs are attended to as promptly as possible, however, it is often necessary to obtain the Landlord’s approval and/or quotes before any work can commence, so unfortunately a delay is sometimes unavoidable.
Should any parts be required for the repair of any appliance, they will be ordered from the appropriate manufacturer. Whilst we make every effort to complete your repair as swiftly as possible on occasion there may be a delay in completing the repair if the parts are not in stock.
If any firm arrangements that we have made regarding access for any tradespeople are not kept by you, the service charge £50.00 for calling the trades person will be automatically passed on to you for payment. Landlords are allowed a reasonable time period to rectify any valid repair
If call outs are made for issues that are the responsibility the tenant then there would be a Call out charge for the above of £50.00 which covers the first hour then £15 per hour thereafter to pay the company concerned.
If any repairs are required in your house due to malicious damage or as a direct result of negligence, we will not be held responsible for completing such repairs the tenant will have to pay for them.
